After the devastating floods that struck Aceh in late 2025, recovery efforts continued across several affected areas as local communities worked to rebuild damaged infrastructure and restore daily life. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment, BAP responded by deploying two telehandlers and, in collaboration with our partner, one additional dump truck to support the recovery operations on site.
In April 2026, BAP conducted a follow-up visit to review the progress of the recovery efforts and reconnect directly with the communities impacted by the disaster. During the visit, our team met with local residents, equipment operators, and community leaders to better understand the ongoing challenges and the positive developments taking place in the area. Although the recovery process was still progressing, the presence and early support from BAP became one of the starting points for broader recovery activities that followed.
BAP believes that supporting communities goes beyond providing equipment — it is about being present when help is needed most. As a reflection of the strong relationship built with the local community, one of the roads in the area has even been informally named “Jalan BAP” by local residents. This meaningful gesture reminds us that every contribution, no matter the scale, can leave a lasting impact on the people and communities we serve.
